Krome Studios at E3 2010!
22nd June 2010 - The Electronics Entertainment Expo is the highlight of the world’s gaming calendar: a showcase of the latest and greatest video games and systems that will be coming out in the next year. Three of Krome Studios’ games were on show for everyone to see and enjoy!
Blade Kitten appeared in Atari’s booth and was a smashing success. The game drew in onlookers with its strong visual style, and the easy to pick up arcade-style controls kept them glued to the controller. There were many other old-school platformers on display at the show but Blade Kitten led the charge with fresh gameplay and humour. It turned out to be one of the best surprises of the show!
Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole drew quotes like “ferociously fast and intense”, “visually stunning” and even “best owl-based game of the show” while on display at the Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment booth. A constant stream of press and retail representatives enjoyed flying around the huge environments and experimenting with the game’s layered combat system.
Finally, Game Room was represented at the Konami booth, with a version of the game outfitted with the latest and greatest Konami games available on the service. After three solid days of seeing the latest hi-def mega-budget extravaganza, it was great to walk over to the Game Room demo pod and play some Time Pilot.
Overall, it was a great show for all of our games on display - here’s to next year’s E3 being even better!
